The future of the Internet and television. According to Bard and ChatGPT.

Before you start reading this article, we would like to point out that its Ukrainian version is not created in the usual way, but using artificial intelligence (AI). For this purpose, we enlisted the help of Bard (a tool from Google with an AI-based chat function) and ChatGPT (a chatbot with AI from Open AI Lab). And we asked the Bing Image Creator neural network, which we described in the previous article, to create the illustrations. So we bring to your attention what came out of it.

Behind the new technological horizons hides a limitless potential for interactivity, high quality content and deep immersion in the virtual world. Predicting the impact of these innovations on our daily lives is a real challenge for today's scientists and media strategists. After all, the future of the Internet and television promises unpredictable transformations that will change the way we perceive media.

How the Internet and television are increasingly integrated

The Internet and television are two of the most important technologies in our lives. They allow us to stay in touch with friends and family, get information and be entertained.

In the past, the Internet and television were two separate spheres: the Internet was used for work and communication, and television was used for entertainment. In recent years, however, these technologies have become increasingly integrated.

This integration is having an important impact on how we consume media and Internet content, making it more accessible and personalized, and creating new opportunities to interact with other users.

Here are a few key trends that will drive the integration of the Internet and television.

5G and 6G Superfast Internet

Entering the era of 5G and other high-speed technologies will allow consumers to access content instantly. Streaming platforms will become even more popular, providing the ability to watch content on any device in the highest quality.

The development of 6G or even higher technology infrastructure will enable superfast Internet. Gigabit and terabit data transfer speeds will allow instant downloading of large volumes of video, high quality content and real-time interaction without any delays or failures.

Personalized content

One of the most notable trends in the integration of the Internet and television will be to provide users with even more personalized content. Not so long ago, we were limited to what the television networks offered us. Now, however, we can use the Internet to find content that matches our individual interests.

In the future, AI algorithms will study each user's tastes and preferences even more thoroughly and offer personalized and tailored streams based on this information. Thanks to this, we will be able to consume TV and Internet content that is more relevant and interesting to us.

Global interactivity

Whereas in the past we have been passive consumers of content, we will soon be able to interact with it in real time. Technologies such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) have the potential to change the way we stream online and watch television. These technologies are already enabling more realistic images today, which can be considered a virtual revolution.

Going forward, VR and AR will become more widespread and allow for the creation of content that will become part of the reality of Internet users and TV viewers. The future will bring hybrid content formats where the reaоl and virtual worlds will merge, providing unique opportunities for creativity.

Concerts, sporting events and other major events on TV channels and online venues will be broadcast in a format that comes closest to the real-life experience of being there. Interactive series will fulfill not only an entertainment role, but also be an element of social interaction: encourage viewers to actively interact with the content, comment, communicate and even influence the development of stories in real time.

3D and holographic streaming

Streaming services will move to the next level by offering 3D and holographic content.

3D streaming will enable the creation of content that is displayed in three dimensions and creates an impression of depth and realism. Users of TV and Internet services will have the opportunity to choose viewing angles, changing the direction of view depending on their own preferences.

Holographic streaming technologies will create virtual objects and characters that are able to exist in the viewer's space. In turn, viewers will be able to interact with the objects using virtual reality. Virtual communication and meetings where participants can interact with each other through holographic projections will become commonplace.

Internet of Things (IoT) at the next level

In the future, the Internet of Things (IoT) will be more extensive and integrated. A variety of devices, from smart home gadgets to autonomous vehicles, will collaborate, sharing data and optimizing different aspects of daily life.

IoT in healthcare will evolve as a means to remotely monitor patients, provide accurate medical data and respond to prescription drugs. The integration of the Internet of Things into smart homes and cities will enable interactions with different systems such as lighting, heating, security and others to create a more comfortable and efficient environment. IoT will enable smart automated systems that respond to the environment and interact with each other to optimize workflows.

Data security and privacy will be a priority as the number of connected devices grows every year. Developing cybersecurity measures and utilizing blockchain technologies will be important tasks.

The trends described will lead to a future where the Internet and television will become even more integrated. We will be able to watch television on Internet-connected devices, access personalized content without delay, actively interact with the virtual world in real time, and adapt the Internet of Things to different industries. Consequently, we have a lot of exciting things ahead of us.
