Recently, the world has seen a growing interest in blockchain, an innovative technology used to store and transmit digital data. With this in mind, we decided to look into what this concept is, how it has already gained a lot of popularity, and what impact it will have on our lives.
On 8 January 2024, Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) was officially announced at CES 2024. The Wi-Fi Alliance — an organisation that brings together manufacturers of computer hardware and wireless devices — predicts that official Wi-Fi 7 support will appear on smartphones, PCs, laptops, routers and other equipment the same year. We decided to compare the latest version of Wi-Fi with the previous ones and understand whether Ukrainians should hurry to buy devices compatible with this communication protocol.
When it comes to PON technology, one may first think of its forebears APON and BPON, which are already a thing of the past. The same goes for EPON with its 100 Mbps speed, which is not always able to meet the growing needs of users.
