The MAG-250 is used to play interactive WebTV from "Maxnet". The device allows you to play media files (video, audio, pictures) via your home network.

Connect the set-top box by cable (patchcord) from the router.
Switching on the device. After the operating system loads and the inscription "Loading portal" appears, press the "Menu" button on the remote.
Select “System settings” — this takes you to the main menu.
In the main menu go to “Servers” → “Portals”.

In URL1 type: http://stb.maxnet.ua/index_webtv.cgi

Note: the keypad can be recalled by pressing the corresponding button on the remote control.
Return to the main menu (“Exit” button on the remote control).
Go to “Network” → “Wired Ethernet” → “Select “Auto (DHCP)”. Then check that the device has received the settings from the router. Select “Network status” → “Wired Ethernet” in the main menu.
This completes the configuration. Go back to the main menu and click "Restart portal". By default, the WebTV portal (which we have entered in URL1) will be loaded. When prompted for a password, enter your personal account.
