AnyDesk is a remote access programme that allows you to connect to your computer. When you have problems with your PC and contact technical support, it can help the specialist to collect data about the error and eventually solve the problems on your side. Next, we tell you how to properly install AnyDesk on your computer.

Step-by-step algorithm of AnyDesk installation on Windows

Go to the official website to the "Downloads" section, select the required OS and download AnyDesk by clicking on the "Download Now" button.
After downloading, run the "AnyDesk" file by clicking on it in the bottom bar of your browser or in the "Downloads" folder.
In the window that opens, find the section labelled "Install AnyDesk" and click on the subheading "Install AnyDesk on this device…"
After that the installation window will open, where you can choose the desired installation path. You can leave it as it is. Then click on the red "Accept & Instal"’ button.
In the window that appears, click on the "Start" button.

AnyDesk is now ready for use. In order for a support person to be able to connect to your computer later on, they will need the XXX XXX XXX format code. For example, in the image below it is 1 308 482 957.

Step-by-step algorithm for installing AnyDesk on macOS

Download AnyDesk for macOS from the official website by clicking on the "Download" button in the "Downloads" section.

After downloading, run the "AnyDesk.exe" file by clicking on it in the bottom pane of your browser or in the "Recent Downloads" folder.

Send a connection number to tech support. To do this:
3.1. Go back to the AnyDesk programme.
3.2. Copy and send the 9/10-digit number — the address of your computer — to the support person. For example, in the image below it is 1 225 313 544.

3.3. When prompted, click "Accept".

Important: Remember to remove personal information from your PC desktop and stay near your computer during the connection time, as the process will require your participation.

Step-by-step algorithm of AnyDesk installation on Android

If you have an Android smartphone, follow the steps below to install AnyDesk on it:

Find the application in the Google Play Market shop.
Install AnyDesk by pressing the "Install" button.
Once the installation is complete, launch the AnyDesk app on your smartphone by pressing the “Open” button.

Or find the AnyDesk icon on the home screen or in the list of applications and tap on it to launch the application.
Provide the necessary permissions to work with your device that AnyDesk may ask for during the first launch (e.g. access to the screen or other functions).
Install the AD1 plug-in by clicking “Install!”.
Activate the AD1 plug-in.

To do this, go to “Settings” — “Accessibility” — “Installed apps” — “Anydesk Control Service AD1” in the smartphone menu and drag the slider to the “On” position.
To connect to a remote device, you will need the ID of the remote device. Enter this ID in the appropriate field in AnyDesk and press the → icon.
In the new window, click “Accept”.

Now you can use AnyDesk to remotely access your device or connect to other devices.

Step-by-step algorithm of AnyDesk installation on iOS

To install AnyDesk on your iOS smartphone, follow the steps below:

Search for the app in the App Store.
Install AnyDesk by pressing the "Get" button.
Once the installation is complete, launch the AnyDesk app on your smartphone by pressing the “Open” button.

Or find the AnyDesk icon on your home screen or in the list of apps and tap on it to launch the app.
Provide the necessary permissions to work with your device that AnyDesk may ask for during the first launch (for example, access to the screen or other functions).
To connect to a remote device, you will need the ID of the remote device. Enter this ID in the appropriate field and press the → icon.
In the new window, click "Accept".
